The Account Codes page provides the user with a list of all account codes that have been established for, and assigned to, the selected project, including a description of each. For capital projects this page will only show codes assigned to the projects that are not already part of the standard FTA (SCC/Sub-SCC) code list.
The following chart describes the UTA project code types used for Capital Development projects.
Capital Development Project Codes
For all new Capital Development projects, a "New Project" form will be completed by the Project Manager and the appropriate Project Code will then be assigned by Manager of Operations - Civil & Design.
These Project Code Types are followed by a 3 digit sequential number, and the last 2 digits of the year to create the Project Number. For example, in the graphic at the top of this page we see that the Project Code "RAI008" has been assigned to the "CRT 2015 Provo to Salt Lake FrontRunner" project.
The Project Number is then used to create the Project Account Code. This number is very informative to the trained eye, and by reviewing it we know the following things about this item. The following example was pulled from the "UTA IPCS - Budgeting Process & Financial Reporting" presentation:
Project Account Code: RAI010 110-140110.12010.040902
